Another good song from the Moping Swans with a fantastic guitar solo. As Ive said before the live band feel of these recordings if very very good. I love the soft "yeah, look at your life" refrain and the way the song changes from soft to rocking in an instant. A good song indeed.

First off, thanks for the kind words....Still love what you're doing/your work....
We recorded the EP live as a band and Bob then overdubbed his vocals....Look At Your Life was lengthened considerably by the longish (by Bob standards) guitar solo....I introduced the solo at our only rehearsal and it ended with the solo that no one had ever heard....We then decided to go out with extended choruses to make it feel more anthem-ish....
The solo is a big nod of the hat to Michael Schenker, who I worked with in 1990-91....Bob was a big Schenker fan from the UFO days, and I always thought they should work together, so I suppose it's my take on what it would have been like if they had....
The power chords were mine as well, more agressive than normally found on Bob's product, just a different tone....More of a Marshall vibe, though it was done with a Mesa 1x12 combo....
